Kaylee Fifer.

I am an artist based out of Dallas, Texas. I like to think that I am a big foodie & cook as well as a nature lover, sun-seeker, athlete, & cat mom. I am also a high school art teacher, so there is always something to run off to!

I was born & raised in the DFW area, but was lucky enough to call San Diego, CA home for some time as well. I went to school & played DI volleyball for Colgate University, then returned to DFW, attending Texas Christian University for my Master's Degree.

From a young age, I was shown many different styles & forms of art, being taught by my grandfather for the vast majority of my childhood. One thing that has always stuck with me has been my love for nature & the beauty that surrounds us. I am greatly influenced by being outside, taking in each feeling & emotion felt within a given space.

Early works include experimenting with brush strokes/lines to develop fun & exciting takes on flowers, plants & things found in nature. In my most recent works, I have taken that love for nature & expressive mark making, turning my art into more abstract views of thinking. The intent of each abstract piece is to represent a moment in time, whether that be dancing under the moonlight or a blurred reality of emotion. Still very centered & inspired by nature and what surrounds me, my other collection tries to stretch how we perceive beauty & force the viewer to feel their feelings while immersed in nature itself.

My love for art has always been present, & I am blessed to create daily, whether with my students in the classroom or in my studio at home. I genuinely love to explore marks, trust the process and provide captured moments or feelings for customers from all over! Thank you so much for visiting!
